Project on Mental Health

NHC-COMS(under the leadership of Ambassador Abhikshya Basnet) in collaboration with Nepal Institute of Mental Health (NIOMH), with support from Anusmaran foundation conducted mental health awareness program and peer support training for adolescent age group in Narayani Model Secondary School, Bharatpur-10, Chitwan on Feb 4,2023.

The pre-event assessment was done on Feb 3 to measure the mental health literacy among the adolescents. The awareness session included general idea about mental health, common mental health issues among adolescents, how to identify early signs, how to promote mental well-being, and about appropriate referral and linkage.
